who knew?

Who knew that one single thing you do could effect the entire outcome of your life?
Over these last few weeks I have had several eye openers to the "real world." These happenings have got me to really realize that even the smallest things we do effect everything. The choices that we make every day of our lives will redirect our path just that much further. There have been few teen pregnancies in our school and there are kids who rely on drugs and alcohol to take them to new heights. Sometimes I don't think people realize the choices they make because they are too consumed with the thought that "Oh, that won't happen to me." Just think, If we all stopped and thought about things a little bit longer, things could be much different.

dwelling on the future

For awhile now I have been thinking and dwelling on my future. I find myself asking what I want to be when I Graduate and what my career path will be. I realize that whatever I do, I want to be happy with it and enjoy it. After a lot of thinking I realized that I wanted to be a psychiatrist. I think that it would be a very intersesting profession because it would allow me to talk with people and understand what they are going through. I would be able to prescribe them medicine to better their lives. I feel that this occupation would be very interesting because I have always thought and asked what is going through people's minds during the time that they commit to something horrible. I really take passion in helping others and I believe I have to power to make a difference in someone's life.
